Our Mission

Ruwwad’s mission is to create a movement of activism amongst the private sector to take responsibility on the ground by empowering communities. The community empowerment model we’ve developed is not about philanthropy or poverty alleviation; it is about championing community assets and addressing needs in the context of a strong youth program that can strengthen youth’s ability to think critically, utilize existing resources, and seize available opportunities in order to create concrete change on the ground.
